Guardian Angel Learning Center

For the past 72 years, Guardian Angel Learning Center has served the child-care needs of the Milwaukee Community.  Established in 1933, it is owned and operated by the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida, a religious and educational congregation.  (Read more about the Sisters of Charity of St. Joan Antida.)

Guardian Angel is licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services for children ages six weeks through 11 years. (Additional certifications)  Currently, due to space limitations, Guardian Angel serves children ages six weeks through six years.  Children are grouped by age.  The Center's capacity is 85 children.  The Director and Assistant Administrator have completed the Administrator's Credential Program.

In addition, Guardian Angel provides quality instruction by licensed teachers. (Teacher/Staff qualifications)  Curriculm is theme-based and age/development appropriate (Curriculum).  Guardian Angel is also accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC).

Guardian Angel Learning Center is open from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12 months a year.  Full and part-time (minimum of three days per week) registration is available (Download an application).
